创设“考艺校”情景：“明星艺校”来学校招生啦！很多学生报名参加考试，让我们来看看同学们都表演些什么才艺吧！
教师用课件依次出示跳舞、唱英文歌曲、弹琵琶、练功夫和画漫画的情景，引出新单词和词组，并将其写在黑板上。

① 教师出示日历，说“it’s monday / tuesday / wednesday / …”，然后教师把日历翻到第二天，说，“next day is …”，以此类推，帮助学生理解单词“next”的意思。

教学反思：
本节课主要内容是第四单元的第一课时，要求学生能听、说、读、写单词“sing”，“song”，“kung fu”，“dance”和词组“sing english songs”，“play the pipa”，“do kung fu”，“draw
cartoons”以及学会询问朋友会干什么，是一堂新短语学习训练课。它以说为主线，通过看、听、说、等一系列教学活动，使学生能正确发音并理解短语的含义，并在教学中充分激发学生强烈的学习愿望，本节课的教学任务顺利完成。
1、把快乐带进英语课堂，营造愉快的语言范围，本课初始，学生就在说说唱唱中开始了愉快的语言学习。这个单元前面的let’s do和let’s chant用于活跃课堂气氛。在课堂上，学生始终处于一种积极轻松的状态中，在猜猜玩玩中学习新知识，使学生体验到英语教学的趣味。
2、体现了学生的主体地位。课堂上我设计了大量的活动，如歌谣、听口令做动作、调查、游戏等。学生参与面较广，充分调动了学生学习英语的积极性。整节课充分体现了以生为本的教育理念，安排了多样的学生活动，其中有两人、小组的，有教师指导性的，也有需学生独立或合作完成的。让他们通过小组合作，pair work学会与他人交流。并以“小组比赛”的方式，充分调动了全体学生的参与积极性。
3、存在的不足
本节课我利用了活动式的教学方法，倡导了任务型教学，但在整个的教学过程中，对学生这头放手得不够“松”，还没达到真正去体现了放手，由学生自主学习的效果。教师如果再化多一点时间让学生去交际，面向全体，使每个学生都机会去表演，那也许会更好些。还有，对各环节应用的时间掌握不准，在做游戏的时间上控制不好，后面做活动的时间有点不够。
以上都是本人对这节课的所想所得，希望在日后的教学中能够不断地积累，不断地提高，把每节课的遗憾降到最低，把教学的效果提到最高。
